Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a statement following tonight’s Indian Air Force strikes on Pakistani territory:

“The deceitful enemy has launched cowardly attacks on five sites across Pakistan. This act of war by India warrants a powerful response — and that response is already underway. The entire nation stands united with our armed forces, with high morale and unwavering resolve. The people and military of Pakistan know how to confront any aggressor. We will never allow the enemy to achieve its sinister objectives.”
