Debris recovered in Donetsk City after last night’s Ukrainian strikes—carried out with drones and what appears to have been an unidentified air-launched cruise missile—indicates the weapon used may have been the “Peklo” long-range cruise missile/rocket drone. Developed by Ukraine in 2024 and entering service with the Ukrainian Air Force in June, the Peklo has an average range of 700 km, enabling Kyiv to conduct deep strikes into both Eastern Ukraine and Russian territory.
