Here’s a look at how China is producing fiber-optic coils for Russian FPV drones:

The Chinese company PGI Technology currently runs 18 machines, each operating 14 hours a day and winding fiber at a rate of 500 meters per minute. This setup yields roughly 500 coils of 15 kilometers each per shift.

Plans are underway to scale up production to 50 machines running 24/7, which would boost output to more than 2,000 15-kilometer coils per day.
