Speaking on Fox News this morning, Lindsey Graham, a Republican senator, voiced strong support for continued confrontation with Iran, urging other nations to join the effort while also suggesting similar pressure could be directed toward Cuba.
“I’m not looking for a fair fight. If we get into a fight, I want to win it—and win it quickly,” Graham said while speaking in Miami, referencing a “Free Cuba” message on his hat. He went on to argue that political change in both Iran and Cuba is inevitable.
Graham praised Donald Trump, saying the former president believes the only way to “make Iran great” is through internal change led by the Iranian people. He described Trump’s leadership as transformative, comparing it favorably to Ronald Reagan, and claimed U.S. military strength and strategy are reshaping the global order.
He concluded by asserting that Iran is in decline and predicted that Cuba could face similar pressure in the future.
