Today, April 14th, marks the third anniversary of the sinking of the Moskva, the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, which was struck and destroyed on this day in 2022 by two domestically-produced R-360 “Neptune” anti-ship missiles launched by the Ukrainian Navy. Since the loss of the Moskva, the Russian Black Sea Fleet has suffered severe degradation, with Ukraine’s continued missile and drone strikes destroying half of its amphibious assault ships and over a dozen additional surface vessels.
