U.S. forces are withdrawing from the Qasrak military base in northeastern Hasakah for redeployment to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, according to Syria TV.
In recent weeks, American troops have also evacuated positions in al-Shaddadi, Hasakah, Deir ez-Zor, and al-Tanf as part of what is described as a broader plan to end the U.S. military presence in Syria, reportedly linked to an agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
One U.S. base is said to remain at Kharab al-Jir near Rmeilan.
