According to a U.S. official who spoke with The New York Times, multiple 30,000-pound GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOPs), known as “bunker buster” bombs, were dropped on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility—believed to be buried up to 90 meters inside a mountain. Initial damage assessments suggest the site has been effectively “taken off the table.”
