The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the loss of an F-16 “Fighting Falcon” during a combat mission last night due to an onboard emergency. The pilot was actively engaging an enemy air assault, successfully downing three aerial targets and attempting to intercept a fourth when the emergency forced him to eject. He was safely recovered and transported to a medical facility, where he is reported to be in good condition. This marks the third F-16 lost by Ukraine since the aircraft was introduced into active service in 2024.
