An interesting detail, probably just a mere coincidence, but today is the birthday of Yevgeny Prigozhin, who was killed by Putin after the failed coup attempt he launched in June 2023. Today, he would have turned 64.

There is still much to learn about the Wagner Group’s coup. When they were less than 400 km from Moscow, and after shooting down 2 helicopters and destroying vehicles and armored units sent by Putin, Prigozhin’s column stopped, and the Wagner chief called off the coup, accepting the peace offer made by Putin.

Two months later, his plane exploded shortly after taking off from Moscow’s airport.
