Widespread looting and arson are being reported, with militias supported by military vehicles ransacking homes and businesses near Jisr al-Awaj. Among the incidents confirmed by local sources are an assault on a female doctor from the Mahna family and the fatal shooting of a driver in the Haroubi neighborhood.

While some armed factions claim they are not involved in these abuses and have called on residents to report violations, there appears to be little to no control on the ground.
