An Axios article yesterday, discussing Alex Isenstadt's upcoming book, Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump's Return to Power, revealed alarming claims from officials within President Trump’s inner circle and cabinet.

According to Isenstadt, these officials stated that Iran’s threats and assassination attempts against Trump were far more serious than publicly disclosed. Last year, law enforcement officials reportedly informed them that Iran had operatives in the U.S. with access to surface-to-air missiles. This raised such significant security concerns that Trump’s security detail arranged for him to travel to an event on a decoy plane owned by Steve Witkoff, now Envoy for Middle Eastern Affairs, while the U.S. Secret Service also coordinated a decoy motorcade that day.
