Ukraine has developed an AI-powered automated air defense turret known as the Sky Sentinel.

Designed primarily to intercept and destroy Shahed-136-type UAVs, the system is also capable of autonomously detecting and neutralizing much smaller targets as well as high-speed cruise missiles.

In combat testing, the Sky Sentinel has already successfully shot down four Shahed drones. Each turret costs approximately $150,000, with an estimated 10 to 30 units required to effectively defend a single city. Mass production is now underway.
