The Israeli Ministry of Defense signed a $5.2 billion contract with Boeing to acquire a fleet of advanced F-15IA fighter jets. The deal also includes the purchase of at least 25 units of the Israeli-adapted version of the F-15EX “Eagle II.”

The F-15I is a kind of "workhorse," capable of carrying more than 10 tons of bombs, missiles, and fuel. It is used when Israel needs to conduct heavy but precise attacks.
