⚡️A Dutch court ruled on Wednesday (22) that the government must intensify efforts to reduce nitrogen pollution in protected natural areas by 2030.

The verdict requires the government to ensure that at least half of the country’s most vulnerable residents are below harmful nitrogen limits by 2030—or face a €10 million fine.

The lawsuit was filed by Greenpeace Netherlands.
