At least five of the roughly two dozen Russian one-way attack drones that breached Polish airspace on Wednesday are believed to have been aimed at a NATO military base in Rzeszów, Poland, which plays a key role in coordinating weapons deliveries to Ukraine, according to a senior NATO officer. Two of the drones were shot down by Dutch F-35A Lightning IIs, while the other three went down under “unexplained circumstances.” Preliminary findings from the Polish Armed Forces were shared with allies during a late Wednesday security briefing.
