Houthi-run media outlets have confirmed the death of Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi along with several other unnamed members of the Houthi Political Council, following a series of Israeli Air Force strikes on the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, on Thursday. The strikes also left an unknown number of ministers and senior officials wounded. Reports indicate the officials were targeted while taking part in a “routine workshop” for the civilian government, conducted virtually under the direction of Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi.
