At a Pentagon press conference this morning, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan “Razin” Caine revealed that two MIM-104 “Patriot” surface-to-air missile batteries, operated by 44 U.S. Army soldiers with support from the Qatar Armed Forces, successfully defended Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar during Monday’s ballistic missile attack by Iran.
