Overnight, Russia unleashed what is believed to be the largest drone assault in history, targeting Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, and the southern port city of Odesa. Hundreds of one-way attack drones struck homes, apartment blocks, hospitals, and other civilian infrastructure across both cities. Casualties are expected to be high, with firefighting and search-and-rescue operations still underway this morning.
