Lithuanian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Raimundas Vaikšnoras stated that he would prefer to intercept stray drones while they’re still in Belarusian airspace—but acknowledged that Lithuania currently lacks the capability to do so. In response, he said Lithuania will focus on strengthening its drone detection and identification systems to better assess and respond to aerial threats near the border.
