
⚡️The U.S. and the Philippines have signed an agreement to allow for the temporary relocation of up to 300 Afghan nationals who have received Special Immigrant Visas (SIV) to the Philippines. The agreement allows for the temporary stay of vetted SIV applicants from Afghanistan, “who have established among other requirements that they have provided faithful and valuable service to the United States of America in Afghanistan,” to stay in the Philippines for up to 59 days while the process of their resettlement to the U.S. and/or a third nation is carried out.
