American analysts from the Center for Naval Analysis (CNA) have identified 32 direct impacts at the Nevatim Air Base in the Negev, with several ballistic missiles striking directly on the protective hangars of Israel's F-35 'Adir' fighters.
Detailed images are not yet available to fully assess the damage. Satellite images of the Tel Nof airbase, which was also attacked by Iran, have not yet been published, although it is unlikely that the damage is severe.
On the other hand, although the damage at Nevatim may not seem severe, Iran used airburst warhead detonations that did not create large craters but spread them over a wide area, effectively targeting the vulnerable fighter jets.
