The Jordanian Interior Ministry has announced today a immediate ban on the activities of and the forced dissolution of the Muslim Brotherhood, alongside the closure of all its offices and the seizure of its assets across Jordan.

This move comes after Jordan’s General Intelligence Department (GID), and the Public Security Directorate (PSD) foiled a plot last week by a cell of the Muslim Brotherhood, planning to launch drone rocket attacks across the Kingdom of Jordan. 16 suspects were arrested, all linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.
