Iranian international affairs expert Mostafa Khoshchem warned that the United Arab Emirates is extremely vulnerable to Iranian retaliation, saying the country is roughly the size of only a few small Iranian cities and could be devastated by a major strike from Iran.
He also argued that the Strait of Hormuz should be shut down for three months in order to pressure Iran’s adversaries to accept Tehran’s conditions.
“The UAE is the size of two small Iranian cities. Iran could strike it so hard that nothing would remain. The Strait of Hormuz should be closed for three months until our enemies agree to our terms.”
