Daily Mail: Researcher Claims to Have Found Ancient Message from “Moses” in Egyptian Mine
An independent researcher has reanalyzed ancient inscriptions at Serabit el-Khadim, an old mining site in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, and believes one of the Proto-Sinaitic markings—dating back 3,800 years—may read: “This is from Moses.”
The inscriptions, carved into the rock walls of the mine, include one possible reference to Moses in the top-left corner. Another inscription found deeper inside the mine also appears to mention Moses, though its meaning is less clear.
The researcher also noted that several texts originally dedicated to Egyptian gods seem to have been scratched out and replaced with references to the Hebrew God.
