Very interesting development: MH/AH-6M “Little Bird” light attack helicopters and MH-60M “Black Hawk” helicopters from the U.S. Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR(A)) were observed conducting training operations off the coast of Trinidad and Tobago earlier this week—just miles from Venezuela’s shores. The aircraft were likely operating from the M/V Ocean Trader, a heavily modified roll-on/roll-off cargo vessel converted into a special operations command center and “mothership,” operated by the U.S. Military Sealift Command (MSC).
