The Syrian Ministry of Health reports that Druze religious leader Hikmat al-Hijri and the Suwayda Military Council (SMC) are blocking government officials and humanitarian aid convoys from entering the city of Suwayda. The convoys, which include teams from the International Red Cross and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), were dispatched following the ceasefire and the withdrawal of tribal militias from the area last night.
