⚡️The Latvian Radio and Television Center (LVRTC) is now reporting that an undersea fiber-optic able between Latvia and the Swedish island of Gotland was damaged by what appears to be “external influences.” The damage to the cable, which lies at more than a 50 meter depth, will not be able to be fully assessed until, repair work begins according to an LVRTC official. The Latvian Navy has contacted relevant NATO allies, with two vessels now being looked at as possibly involved. More to come.
