The Lufthansa Group, Germany’s flagship airline—which includes Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover, Eurowings, Swiss, and ITA Airways—announced it will avoid flying over Iraqi and Iranian airspace until further notice due to the current situation in the Middle East. The group also said that beginning Thursday, it will operate flights to Jordan during daytime hours only.
