Trump claims that he will be meeting later today with Jeffrey Goldberg, the Editor-in-Chief of The Atlantic who was inadvertently added to a Signal group-chat early last month by National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, which contained senior administration officials and revealed potentially classified material about the ongoing strike campaign against the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen. According to Trump, he will be meeting with Goldberg as well as writers for The Atlantic, Michael Scherer and Ashley Parker, for an article they are writing titled “The Most Consequential President of this Century” adding that he is doing the interview out of curiosity, to see if The Atlantic can be “truthful” in their story.
