The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted another operation today on Russian or Russian-occupied territory, this time targeting the Crimean Bridge, which connects Crimea to Russia. The attack involved placing 1,100 kg of explosives on the bridge’s support pillars near the seabed of the Kerch Strait.
The operation reportedly took several months to execute, with SBU agents planting the explosives on the bridge supports in early 2025. The resulting blasts have compromised the structural integrity of the bridge, significantly restricting transit between Crimea and mainland Russia.
