Earlier this evening, approximately 20 Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out a major strike against Houthi targets in western Yemen. Over 50 precision-guided munitions were used to hit critical infrastructure, including the ports of Al-Hudaydah, Ras Isa, and Salif, as well as the Ras Kanatib Power Plant. The strikes came in response to a Houthi attack on a commercial vessel in the Red Sea earlier today and ongoing ballistic missile and drone launches targeting Israel.
The Israeli Air Force also released footage of F-16I “Sufa” multirole fighter jets from the 119th Squadron launching from Ramon Airbase in southern Israel ahead of the operation.
