A Chinese-made FT-7BGI training jet operated by the Bangladesh Air Force crashed into Milestone College in Dhaka earlier today, killing at least 22 people and injuring more than 100 students. The incident occurred around 1:18 PM BST as the aircraft was attempting to land at BAF Base Bir Uttom A.K. Khandker. Reports indicate the jet became unresponsive and stalled mid-approach. The pilot, Flight Lieutenant Toukir Islam Sagar, reportedly tried to divert the aircraft toward an open field, but the maneuver failed, resulting in a direct impact with the main entrance of the Haider Ali Building on campus.
