Polish Air Force MiG-29As were scrambled earlier today from the 22nd Tactical Air Base for the third time in a week to intercept a Russian Il-20M “Coot-A” electronic surveillance aircraft. The Russian plane was flying over the Baltic Sea near Polish airspace without a filed flight plan and with its transponder switched off.
