Over 25 people were injured today in Liverpool, England, after a 53-year-old British man drove his minivan through a large parade celebrating Liverpool F.C.’s Premier League title victory. Authorities reported that at least two individuals sustained serious injuries.

Merseyside Police stated that the incident is not being treated as an act of terrorism.

According to several witnesses and video footage, members of the crowd appeared to strike the van with their fists and other objects before the driver accelerated. The motive behind the incident has not yet been disclosed by the authorities.
