For the first time since 2020, Russia’s postal service has resumed parcel deliveries to North Korea.

Citing the DPRK as a “strategic partner” and a promising market, the company announced that packages weighing up to 20 kg will be flown to Vladivostok before being transferred to Pyongyang via a North Korean airline.

The move comes as Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu makes his third visit to North Korea in just two months.
