Following President Trump’s remarks yesterday expressing support for the idea, the White House confirmed today that it is “exploring” the legal framework for potentially deporting not only undocumented immigrants, but also American citizens charged with certain crimes to El Salvador’s infamous CECOT maximum-security mega-prison and other facilities in the country.
