Russia is expanding its bomber production facility in Kazan, according to Finnish broadcaster Yle. Analysts have identified several new buildings at the site, covering an area roughly equivalent to three football fields. The expansion, part of a €1 billion modernization effort, is expected to be completed by the end of next year. Yle highlights that the Kazan plant is currently the only facility in Russia capable of replacing its lost strategic bombers.
