Speaking to reporters outside the White House, Donald Trump criticized Spain over its refusal to allow U.S. forces to use bases for strikes related to the war with Iran, warning that the United States could cut trade ties with Madrid. 

Trump said Spain had “been very bad” on cooperation and added that the U.S. “may cut off trade with Spain.”
