U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced today the launch of GenAI.mil, a new military-focused platform designed to put advanced artificial intelligence tools directly into the hands of U.S. service members. The platform currently features Google Cloud’s Gemini and will eventually include xAI’s Grok, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and Anthropic’s Claude.

“The future of American warfare is here, and it’s spelled AI,” Hegseth said. “AI tools offer limitless opportunities to boost efficiency, and we’re excited to see the positive impact AI will have across the War Department.”
