The fires visible off the coast of Iran in the Gulf of Oman may have resulted from a collision between two oil tankers — the ADALYNN, flagged under Antigua and Barbuda, and the FRONT EAGLE, flagged under Liberia. While vessel tracking data indicates the incident likely occurred over three hours ago, the lack of earlier reports raises questions, with the first public indications emerging only after photos of the fires surfaced and Ambrey issued its statement.
