According to Lebanon’s Al-Akhbar, President Joseph Aoun was warned by the United States to honor existing commitments, disarm Hezbollah, and refrain from engaging Israel. The warning reportedly came after Aoun asked the Lebanese army to confront the IDF amid escalating tensions along the border.
