Pakistan Convenes Nuclear Authority as Military Operation Escalates

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the National Command Authority, the country’s highest body responsible for oversight of its nuclear arsenal.

This is the first publicly acknowledged NCA meeting since February 2019, coming amid Pakistan’s ongoing counter-offensive under Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.
