Several Ukrainian officials, including Colonel Pavlo Palisa, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, arrived in Washington last night. Today, they are set to brief U.S. Congressional leaders and members of the Senate on the outcomes of the Security Service of Ukraine’s (SBU) large-scale drone offensive against Russian airbases over the weekend, known as Operation Spiderweb. During their visit, the delegation will also push for increased sanctions on Russia and additional support for Ukraine.
