Germany announced today that it will soon supply Ukraine with two more MIM-104 “Patriot” surface-to-air missile batteries, following a purchase deal for upgraded systems from the United States. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that several launchers will be delivered to the Ukrainian Air Force “within days,” with additional components expected over the next two to three months. This latest delivery will bring the total number of Patriot systems Germany has provided to Ukraine since 2022 to five.
