The Israel Defense Forces reported that Yamam and Shin Bet units conducted a raid in Nablus, located in the West Bank, resulting in the death of Nour Al-Bitawi, the head of Islamic Jihad’s Jenin branch. According to reports, Bitawi was killed by a drone carrying explosives during the operation aimed at capturing him.
